France Cycling Guides
I have been lucky enough to visit France by cycling on several trips in Paris, the Alsace, Strasbourg, and along the Rhine River, plus the Dordogne region in the south. I did require a GPS (and a map) as many of the routes were not signed, but I had no issues finding my way around.
The hotels welcome cyclists all the time and usually have a bicycle storage area, and of course, you can expect excellent food and wine in France. There are many guided tours available, or you can self-guide, much like I did.
Cycling is popular in France. Even in Paris, when exiting the train station with my bike and looking at a map, people came to my aid, providing directions on which cycling lane to take. I loved France, and I am sure you will as well. Read more and start planning your trip below!
