What customers say about this sleeping bag
There were plenty of reviews about this sleeping bag which is not surprisely as it is so popular. Numerous people felt this was a descent bag at a very inexpensive price.
It is lightweight and does pack extremely small. Some people reported they could never fold or roll it up as small as they originally got it or as shown in the picture. The people who just stuffed it in the compression sack reported no issues. There is a learning curve getting it to pack small using built-in compression straps
Mixed reviews regarding size with several people around 5’10 and 160 pounds fitting with only a little wiggle room. However several people 6’1, and another 6.3 found they had plenty of room lengthwise. All agree if you are a big person it can be a tight fit and hard to move around in the sleeping bag. Related to the tight fit a few people reported issues with the zippers.
Most reviewers felt the temperature rating is accurate to 30 degrees. However I have found with sleeping bags it really depends on the person so if you get cold easily this might not be the right bag for you.
If you expect to run into very cold weather I would not recommend this bag. However the Suisse Sport Adventurer Mummy Sleeping Bag is an inexpensive style that is both lightweight and packs compactly and works well for that.
